Medical Director of MOA – Newtown Square, Christopher J. Kuc, OD, FAAO, brings nearly two decades of experience as a clinician and eye care thought leader to his role with MOA.
Dr. Kuc has unparalleled experience with, and a deep knowledge base for, managing corneal surface disease, dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, emergency eye care, and surgical co-management. He spent the early part of his Optometric career working and training with the world-renowned Ophthalmology team at Virginia Eye Consultants.
He graduated from Salus University in 2003 and focused his career on advancing the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of eye diseases. His comprehensive and high-touch approach patient care has earned him a loyal patient following for total ocular and visual health.
In addition to striving for excellence in individual patient care, Dr. Kuc is passionate and proactive about playing a lead role in shaping the future of the eye care field. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He is currently the President of the local Chester-Delaware Optometric Society and is serving as a trustee on the board of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kuc has been published in peer-reviewed eye journals and has written for monthly optometry publications. Dr. Kuc is a sought-after lecturer on a local and national level for ocular disease management and routinely provides continuing education programs for his fellow optometrists.
Dr. Christopher Kuc is developing his clinical research experience and will lead MOA – Newtown Square in partnership with leading pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers to advance new testing and treatment methodologies.
